Recent information about this man with ties to Crystal Palace is revealed
Mitchel Frame, a left-back target for Crystal Palace, has signed a new contract at Celtic that will keep him with the club through the summer of 2026, ending any lingering rumors about his future. The Daily Record reports that the Eagles have been interested in luring him down to England recently, along with fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion.
However, Crystal Palace will now need to look elsewhere for reinforcements with the 17-year-old securing an extension. He will be eyeing a place in Celtic’s first-team down the line.
Frame has spent his entire professional career with Celtic Park and came up through the ranks of the current Scottish Premiership champions’ academy. He has played for them frequently at different youth levels and is currently a vital member of their B squad in the Lowland League, the top division in Scottish football.
This weekend, Crystal Palace will play again in the Premier League when they travel to Manchester United. After losing 3-0 to the Red Devils in the Carabao Cup last time out, they are returning to Old Trafford.
“This is a new game and it’s a different team,” Roy Hodgson remarked in remarks made prior to the game. Our team will differ from the one that competed on Tuesday night.
“I am looking forward to the game, and I think we will head up there with the same high expectations that one normally has when visiting Old Trafford.
“We’re playing against one of the top clubs in the world in a fantastic football stadium. You should accept that instead of having any reservations or apprehensions about it.
“The preparation work we always do for our team has been completed, and I’m more than satisfied the players are excited about the game and have the same attitude toward what the game as I have and the rest of the coaching staff.”
