Ohio’s Cleveland — Baker Mayfield, a former quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, is succeeding both on and off the pitch. In addition to his Tampa Bay Buccaneers being in the thick of the NFC playoff hunt, his wife Emily announced on Monday that they are expecting a child.

The couple was seen in the post holding a sonogram picture while Fergus, their dog, grinned at the camera.
Denzel Ward, a former teammate of the Browns and cornerback, replied, “Congrats, bro!”

After getting married in 2019, the Mayfields will be having their first child.
The former Heisman Trophy winner has returned to form in Tampa, throwing for 18 touchdowns and a 90.0 passer rating. The Browns traded for him after acquiring Deshaun Watson prior to the 2022 season. In contrast, Watson has only appeared in 12 of the 29 games during his two seasons in Cleveland because of a suspension followed by a string of injuries. In the team’s last game, a 36-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Joe Flacco, 38, was the starting quarterback.
