“I think it has always been decent games against Birmingham City,” he stated. “Yes, our former landlords have always been close matches. It will be an interesting game because, as you may recall, both of our league games from last season—at home and there—were extremely close.

“I believe that a change has undoubtedly occurred. John Eustace has left, and Wayne Rooney has entered. They clearly intend to play a particular brand of football there. Though it’s an intriguing one, we are also anticipating it.

“He’s encountered situations where the team is performing exceptionally well and where things have only marginally altered for them. In the end, attempting to impose your own philosophy on the board, the club, and their preferred method of operation can occasionally have a small detrimental impact before it begins to grow.
