In an attempt by Danny Rohl to make his mark on the team this winter, Hogan, 31, is the latest name to be connected with a move to Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday eye attacker
Hogan may be seen by Sheffield Wednesday as a way to strengthen their offensive line before the second half of the season, when they hope to keep themselves out of League One.
The Football League veteran, who was born in Salford, has made 395 appearances across all competitions and scored goals on 195 of those occasions.
He signed a permanent contract with Birmingham in 2019 after initially joining on loan. In 146 games for the Blues overall, he has scored 36 goals, including two this season.
Hogan spent time as a young player at FC Halifax Town, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Ashton United, and Hyde before working his way up the football pyramid.
After signing with Rochdale in League Two in 2013, he later played for Brentford, Aston Villa, Sheffield United, and Stoke City. Under Chris Wilder, he assisted in the Blades’ 2019 promotion to the Premier League.
Now that Sheffield Wednesday is fighting for survival, they might try to entice him back to South Yorkshire. As they attempt to escape the relegation zone, they are currently in excellent form.
