Supermarkets and shops closed Boxing Day 2023 – Home Bargains:

Christmas is only a few days away and these shops will not be reopening on December 26.

In just a few days now, Christmas will be officially here, marking the change of supermarkets and shop opening times.

While most stores across the UK usually close early on Christmas Eve and remain closed on Christmas Day itself, many shoppers will remember that many used to reopen their doors on Boxing Day for the sales.

However, this has changed over the past few years, with many choosing to remain closed for an extra day to allow staff members a well-earned break to spend with their loved ones after the busy period.

For many major retailers, this will be the fourth consecutive year they have remained closed on December 26, after making the same decision following the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.

If you do find that you might need to nip out for some bread or home essentials on Boxing Day, then here is a reminder on all the supermarkets and shops that will be closed this year.
