After Michael Beale was fired, the Glasgow Giants are searching for a new manager.
Following a 3-1 home loss to Aberdeen on Sunday night, Rangers parted ways with Michael Beale and are now looking for their next permanent manager.
The Rangers board would like to express their appreciation to Michael and his team for their efforts since joining the club in November, according to a club statement. Results this season have fallen short of what Rangers supporters would have hoped for.
“As a result, it was decided today to sever the manager’s contract as well as that of Neil Banfield, Damian Matthew, Harry Watling, and Jack Ade. Steven Davis will serve as the team’s temporary manager, the club is happy to announce.
Former Rangers player and extremely experienced coach Alex Rae, current Rangers player Steven Smith, coach Brian Gilmour, and goalkeeping coach Colin Stewart will make up the team.
Following the decision to break company with Beale, here are the early prospects that the bookmakers are predicting, with a surprise candidate near the top of the odds list.
