Doig is understood to have his heart set on the move to France but, according to transfer oracle Fabrizio Romano, Verona’s preference is to sell to their fellow Italians with Marseille now threatening to walk away from the deal. According to reports, Celtic’s pursuit of Nicolas Kuhn, a winger for Rapid Vienna, has advanced significantly as the two teams have now reached an agreement on a £3 million deal. The 24-year-old has reportedly verbally agreed to terms on a contract that would last until the summer of 2028, according to Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph. He will travel to Glasgow on Monday to finalise the deal after having a medical examination in London.
