Former Leeds United defender Leif Davis has revealed he was confident he made the right decision to leave Elland Road for Ipswich Town in the summer of 2022. “I’m not just happy here, I’m very grateful to the club for bringing me here and I will always do whatever I can for them.”

Anthony knew he would ‘thrive’

Jaidon Anthony has lift the lid on his deadline day move to Leeds United and says he knew he’d thrive at Elland Road after experiencing the atmosphere in Bournemouth’s 4-3 defeat last season. The Cherries winger was an unused substitute during the game with Jesse Marsch’s side coming out on top in a thriller on home soil.

Speaking to the Official Leeds United podcast he said: “I was really excited, last year I came here and experienced the crowd and I knew that I would thrive playing in that environment. I was a lover of a stadium with a good energy and it’s an exciting time to be here.”
