Three managers in contention for Huddersfield Job After Darren Moore sacked#

The official club website of Huddersfield Town has announced that Darren Moore has left the team.

Huddersfield Town is three points above the relegation zone after a 1-1 draw away at QPR over the weekend.

To maintain their Championship status, they must make a significant choice regarding their new boss.

These are three candidates they ought to think about.

Paul Heckingbottom

The previous season, he led Sheffield United to promotion from the second division. The 46-year-old is currently available and has previously managed Barnsley, Leeds United, and Hibernian.

Yorkshireman Heckingbottom was let go by the Blades in December and has been considering his options ever since. Of the 98 games he managed at Bramall Lane, he won 50% of them.

Gary Rowett

Huddersfield might want to give the 49-year-old, a seasoned Football League manager, a look. He was let go by Millwall in October, and he hasn’t been linked as he looks to get back in the dugout soon.

Rowett has previously held positions at Stoke City, Derby County, Birmingham City, and Burton Albion. Last year, his Lions team just missed out on the playoffs.

John Eustace

He was fired by Birmingham City earlier in the season to make room for Wayne Rooney. At the time, his departure from the Blues was perceived as harsh, particularly in light of the remarkable work he had done with the Midlands team while he was there working with the younger players.

In order to fill the void left by Moore’s departure, Eustace would be perfect for the Terriers if they could entice him to play in the second division once more.
