Crystal Palace make’s £22m bid to sign*

Now, Crystal Palace has made a fresh attempt to capture Blackburn’s Adam Wharton.

That’s what Alan Nixon says.

What’s new on Adam Wharton, the Crystal Palace target? Let’s examine this.

Nixon reports that the Eagles have made a new bid for the England U20 international, reportedly valued at £22 million.

Jordan James, the No. 19 player for Birmingham, caught everyone’s eye before Crystal Palace’s attempt to sign Wharton for £18.5 million failed.

But now, it seems that Dougie Freedman was bluffing because a new bid has been submitted for the Blackburn No. 23 before of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

According to Nixon, Crystal Palace is now promising a guaranteed £18 million and an additional £4 million.

The trustworthy source continues, saying that despite Chelsea’s interest as well, Crystal Palace is “dead set” on signing Wharton, and that this higher proposal could now lead to a successful conclusion in the negotiations.
