Update on man arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after car crashes into house’

Following a car smash into a Bradford home, a man was detained on suspicion of drugged driving; he was later freed while an investigation was conducted.

The event happened on Saturday, February 24, shortly after noon near Kenton Way in Holme Wood.

A Vauxhall Corsa struck a house, according to West Yorkshire Police.

A wounded woman in the automobile was transported to the hospital.

“Police were called to a road traffic collision where a car had struck a house in Kenton Way, Bradford at 12:12 p.m. on Saturday,” a force spokesperson stated.

“A Vauxhall Corsa driver was brought to the hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

“The car’s male driver was taken into custody on charges of driving under the influence of drugs.

“He has been released under investigation.”

The representative stated that investigations into the incident were still ongoing.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service and firefighters were also on the site.
