Sixfields clash given earlier kick-off time

The Saturday, April 20th, Sky Bet League One match between Northampton and Exeter City will now begin at a slightly earlier time of 2 p.m.

The move was done to avoid a direct matchup with Northampton Saints, who are scheduled to play Leicester Tigers in a TV-covered game that begins at 3:05 p.m.

Saints and Cobblers are still cooperating, rearranging kickoff times when needed to prevent a direct confrontation. The most recent instance occurred in January, when Northampton’s match against Shrewsbury Town at Sixfields coincided with the Saints’ 2 p.m. kickoff against Newcastle.
