Motherwell new boy Moses Ebiye should settle quickly after joining celebrations in Rangers upset”

The Steelmen’s new signing could get his first outing in a friendly with Ayr after witnessing the club’s historic win at Ibrox.

Moses Ebiye, the new recruit, should become accustomed to Motherwell fast, according to Stephen Frail, after sharing the team’s celebrations at Ibrox.

Moses was added to the Well squad on Saturday and given the opportunity to play Scottish football in front of 50,000 supporters, so it appeared like he would be going through a baptism of fire.

Moses arrived in the nation on Friday night, so it was wonderful that we could take him to the Ibrox game on Saturday so he could witness the club’s mission and our pregame routine.

Moses also had the opportunity to watch Scottish football up close at one of the largest teams in the nation. He witnessed 50,000 supporters and saw how we responded to that challenge.”

“I believe what he witnessed in that game will excite him.

“I saw that he was giving the players high fives as we left the Ibrox field, even though we had only just met them at the pre-game supper two hours earlier.

“Hopefully, that will help him adjust more quickly because he was congratulating them all after the outcome.

He is knowledgeable. We are happy he is here because he can score goals and moves a little bit.

After spending time in Norway’s top division, where he scored 19 goals with two different teams—Tromsø and Aalesund—until January, the 26-year-old has now landed in Scotland.

When the Steelmen play a friendly against Ayr United in the Championship tomorrow, he might don the claret and amber for the first time. However, he might not play in Motherwell’s next competitive match, which is a Premiership match against Aberdeen on March 16.

“He might play some part in tomorrow’s game against Ayr United,” Frail continued.

“He started working out today and made his debut on the training pitch.

“If he is not fit enough, he might pick up an injury, but hopefully we will see him against Ayr.”
