Any fan can become an owner of Motherwell Football Club through the Well Society.
Established 2011 with the goal of fan ownership, the Well Society reached that target in October 2016, and is now the majority shareholder of MFC.
The Well Society was founded in 2011 with the intention of becoming a majority shareholder in MFC. It accomplished this goal in October of 2016 after reaching its target. The board and the association’s rules of association oversee the society.
THE EVOLUTION OF FAN
We’ve shown that it is feasible to own fans. We have seen a time of relative success with our members. We continue to learn. However, if you regard the club as:
