Teenager ‘deliberately’ hit by a car outside Sutton

Last night (Friday, 23 March), a car “deliberately” hit a 19-year-old outside Bar 28 on Birmingham Road, seriously injuring his leg.

In the wake of the incident outside the pub in Sutton Coldfield, police have opened an investigation. The intentional act outside Bar 28 on Birmingham Road left the 19-year-old male with a significant leg injury.

Police say they now seek the public’s help after the victim was struck by a car late on Friday night (March 23). The event happened close to the Duke Street intersection at approximately 11 p.m.

Police have detained a 26-year-old male in connection with the incident, but they are currently working to “establish the circumstances” and are pleading with witnesses and anyone with dashcam evidence to come forward.
