Police say they executed a warrant at a property on the town’s Western Road yesterday.
Yesterday, police raided a Kilmarnock residence as part of a “ongoing investigation.”
For most of the day, police cars, including two vans, were positioned in front of a house on Western Road.
A warrant had been executed by officers in connection with an ongoing investigation.
Witnesses described how much of the day they spent on Western Road.
The nature of the current inquiry could not be disclosed by Police Scotland, and the case is still being looked at 24 hours after the event was reported, according to officials.
“Officers attended a property in Kilmarnock on Tuesday, February 27 to execute a warrant in connection with an ongoing investigation,” a Police Scotland spokesman said.
“There are still questions.”
