Adrian Lam responds to rumours he could leave Leigh Leopards

The Leigh Leopards have had a difficult season to begin. Their progress has been impeded by a series of injuries. From their first eight games, the Challenge Cup winners from the previous year have only achieved two victories.

But a convincing victory over the Catalan Dragons indicates that they may have turned the corner. Their recent success can be greatly attributed to Coach Adriam Lam’s contributions. The team was led by the former coach of the Wisconsin Warriors in the Championship. They have experienced an era of unheard-of success under his leadership.

Lam’s achievement has, of course, not gone ignored. According to reports, Lam could take over at the South Sydney Rabbitohs. This comes after it was announced that Souths’ head coach Jason Demetriou had resigned.
In his two and a half years as leader, Lam has changed Leigh. He acknowledged that he is only halfway through a five-year plan at Leigh in remarks made earlier today. But he did say he would always take opportunities as they presented themselves.

“Over the past 2.5 years, we’ve brought it to amazing heights, and I’ve loved every second of it.”

My whole attention is focused on the club because we have a five-year strategy that is on pace to get things where they need to be.

“Any normal person would look at the opportunity and make decisions from there if something came up in that way,” the speaker said.
Law continued, though, saying that Leigh has his heart and that he hopes the trip can go on.”Yet I am aware that my heart is here right now; thus far, the journey has been incredible, and I hope it continues.”

Lam views the opportunity to work in the NRL as a well-earned reward for his efforts with the Leopards.

“I believe that after all of our hard work here, it’s nice to be acknowledged over there. I also believe that I’ve completed my apprenticeship.”

Lam really wants his destiny to be decided quickly. There are still talks going on with Leigh about a new contract. Lam anticipates a resolution in the upcoming weeks.

“As for the contract negotiations with Leigh, I’m confident that they will proceed and be concluded in the coming weeks.”
