A man’s body has been discovered in the water at a marina in Nottinghamshire. A member of the public made the find in afternoon at Colwick Marina.
Nottinghamshire Police, who received a report soon before 4 p.m., said the man’s death was not considered suspicious. The force also stated that formal identification would be taken out in due time.
Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow said: “Officers were called by a member of the public following the discovery of a man’s body in the water at Colwick Marina shortly before 4pm. The man’s death is not currently being treated as suspicious. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
Formal identification will be carried out in due course and a file has been prepared for the coroner
