Hartlepool United eye Harrogate Town and Stockport County pair

Jameson’s contract at Harrogate Town runs out in late June and he is due to become available for nothing as things stand.

The stopper’s future is yet to be known with the Sulphurites yet to publish their retained list.

He joined his current team in 2022 after spells at Darlington, Blyth Spartans and York City and has since made 31 appearances in all competitions.

The Sunderland-born man was given the green light to link up with Hartlepool United last term to get some more game time and played 31 times.

Jameson would be a safe pair of hands for the Pools again if they are able to lure him back.

As for Hippolyte, Stockport County made the tough decision to part ways with him following their promotion to League One.

Prior to joining the Hatters in 2022, he played for Falkirk, St. Mirren, Dunfermline Athletic, Yeovil Town, and Scunthorpe United. He scored nine goals in 94 games for the North West team.

If Hartlepool United could acquire hold of the winger, it would be a wise move. It is unknown, though, if he would be open to moving down a division once more.

What next for the pair?

Jameson’s fate lies in the hands of Harrogate Town and they have a decision to make as to whether to keep hold of him, with the Pools potentially waiting to re-sign him.

Hippolyte’s stock is high now after his Stockport County spell and needs to weigh up his options.
