“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing CEO and founder from the bottom of my heart.”
Chris Webb, the newly elected MP for Blackpool, has resigned from Counselling in the Community, a mental health organisation.
Having worked with the organisation since 2018, Mr. Webb attributed his “difficult decision” to the demands of his dual roles as Blackpool South MP and family man. “It has been an absolute privilege to be part of this incredible organisation and witness the positive impact we have made in the lives of individuals in need with our brand-new children’s centre in Bispham and our brilliant community hub in South Shore on Waterloo Road,” he stated.
“I would like to use this occasion to extend my sincere gratitude to Stuart Hutton-Brown, our incredible founder and CEO. Stuart, you are incredibly amazing with your innovative leadership and unwavering dedication to making mental health counselling available to everyone. Working with you has been an honour, and I have seen firsthand how your commitment and enthusiasm can change others.
In order to guarantee that the organisation “will continue to thrive and positively impact the lives of many in Blackpool and beyond,” he promised to continue helping the charity, its employees, and volunteers in their essential work.
Counselling in the Community has expanded under Mr. Webb’s leadership as chair and trustee. The charity’s most recent addition is the £50,000 hub located on Guildford Avenue in Bispham.
It opened early this year with the intention of giving the town’s youth access to a safe haven of support, direction, and therapeutic interventions.
