Police emergency services locked down road

Emergency services have closed a street in Ayrshire this morning.

Hurlford’s Morris Crescent is now the scene of police and ambulance operations.

Officers have taped off the street, and there is a noticeable police presence nearby.

At around 10.40 a.m. on Sunday, there were complaints of a “disturbance” in the town’s Grosvenor Road neighbourhood, prompting the police to be summoned.
Police in Greenock have blocked off a roadway in response to complaints of a “disturbance” at a residence.


On Sunday, March 3, about 10.40 a.m., emergency services were called to the Grosvenor Road section of the town. As of right now, they are still there.
“We were called around 10.40am on Sunday, 3 March, to a report of a disturbance in the Grosvenor Road area of Greenock,” a Police Scotland spokesperson stated.

“The road between Sinclair Street and East Crawford Street is currently closed due to the presence of officers and other emergency services.”
