A cherished coffee shop is being sold following five prosperous years of operation.
Bello Luca, on Glasgow Road, has grown to be a local institution, but its proprietor is hoping to hand down the torch.
The neighbourhood is depressed about the news that it is being sold.
It was a “difficult decision,” according to the owner Emmeline Cimbala, but she thinks it’s time for her to stand down.
“Having spent the last five years building my dream business, I have taken the difficult decision to move on,” Emmeline wrote in a Facebook post. Though I’ve always known Bello Luca was needed at the top of the town, the fantastic customer loyalty and feedback we receive daily truly astound me.
“It’s time for me to take a break and start spending more time with my family again. The past five years have been an incredible rollercoaster trip.
“The business is up for sale with the most incredible and experienced team ready to go so if you think you have what it takes to own and run the busiest coffee shop in town get in touch.”
