Following a deliberate fire in Kilmarnock, detectives are requesting information.
On Friday, May 24, 2024, at around 1.40 am, a Range Rover was purposefully set on fire in Eradour Place.
The fire was put out, emergency services were called, and no injuries were reported.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward since they are treating the event as deliberate.
Investigators are eager to find a man who was acting strangely at the time. It is said that he is dressed in dark clothes and is on reflective trainers.
Detective Constable John Cuthbert stated: “The fire was started when the car was parked in a home’s driveway, causing the homeowner great concern. Anyone with knowledge about what transpired should speak up, in my opinion.
“If you were in the Eradour Place area at the time and saw anything suspicious or have CCTV or dashcam footage which may have captured something of significance then please contact us.”
