Bristol: Murder investigation launched after 19-year-old killed

A murder investigation has been launched after the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old man in the St Pauls area of Bristol.

The St Pauls resident passed away in a hospital after being discovered in Grosvenor Road on Friday just after 23:00 BST.
Although he was charged with possessing an offensive weapon close to the scene, the other young guy who was previously detained has been removed from the murder investigation.
Knife wounds were determined to be the cause of death after a post-mortem examination.

The inquiry, according to Avon and Somerset Police, is now in its early stages and is being overseen by the specialised Major Crime inquiry Team (MCIT).
“We believe the victim to be a 19-year-old man from St Pauls; the formal identification process has not yet taken place. Our thoughts are with his family in their grief,” they stated.
