No known arrest have been made after an overnight shooting in south Louisville left a woman dead.
Louisville Metro police officers were called on Monday just before 2 a.m. to the 8000 block of Glimmer Way, which is near New Cut Road and in between Auburndale and Fairdale.
A woman was found with a gunshot wound and she died at the scene. The Louisville Fire Department confirmed some of this incident took place in the parking lot.
The LMPD Homicide Squad is investigating this shooting and there’s currently no suspect information. Anyone with information can call the police department’s anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or use the online LMPD Crime Tip Portal.
Just hours before this happened, Louisville Metro police officers were called to a deadly triple shooting involving three teenagers.
