Fulham confirm deal with Manchester United Star

Fulham desperately need bodies through the door this summer.

Fulham’s roster is currently extremely thin after losing Willian, Joao Palhinha, and Bobby Decordova-Reid earlier this summer.
The Whites have a lot of work ahead of them in this window, and the midfield core may be the most crucial area for development.
Palhinha is no longer with the team, Sasa Lukic is still erratic, and Tom Cairney is becoming older.

Fortunately, there is still a long way to go in the transfer market, and Fulham reportedly has a few possibilities in mind for the midfield, according to Sky Sports.

Fulham want Scott McTominay

Sky Sports reports that Fulham is interested in Scott McTominay of Manchester United.

According to rumours, McTominay was the west London team’s top pick to take Joao Palhinha’s place if he decided to leave in the summer.
Palhinha, of course, stayed the previous year, but Fulham is now again interested in McTominay now that his transfer to Bayern Munich has completed.

Scott McTominay deal won’t be easy

Although McTominay is reportedly desired by Fulham, it won’t be simple to convince the Scotland international to leave Old Trafford.

McTominay is an academy product, therefore neither he nor United will be eager to let him depart from the team they have called home for a long time.

With Sofyan Amrabat’s departure and Casemiro’s ongoing decline, McTominay emerged with numerous crucial goals for United last season, and he continues to be a valuable asset in the midfield.
It’s interesting to note that Tom Cairney, the captain of Fulham, has previously praised McTominay highly, calling his goal-scoring antics for Scotland last season “ridiculous.”

While Fulham is reportedly interested in Andre Trindade of Fluminense and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg of Tottenham, this possible move for the Manchester United player is arguably the most intriguing gossip currently circulating regarding Marco Silva’s team.
