Police officers were called shortly before 11am today following a collision in Commercial Road in Totton in which a woman sadly lost her life in the crash.
A Volkswagen and Mazda were the two vehicles involved in the incident which claimed the life of a woman.
A woman reported a minor injury, according to Hampshire Constabulary.
Several people took to social media to warn people of the crash.
One person described it as a ‘nasty accident’ in a post on Facebook.
The crash has since been cleared.
