Man critically injured in head-on crash at New Beith

The man was driving a station wagon when it crashed into an oncoming ute

A man has been critically injured in a head-on crash near Brisbane.

The 45-year-old man was driving a Chrysler station wagon on New Beith Rd in Logan when he crashed with an oncoming Dodge Ram ute.

He suffered critical head and chest injuries and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A 56-year-old man driving the ute and his passenger, a boy in his teens, suffered minor injuries.

They were both taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to come forward.

Investigations continue.
