Leeds United transfer twist as new exciting target emerges

Regarding Leeds United’s alleged interest in transferring for Norwich City star Gabriel Sara, Carlton Palmer has rendered his judgement. Foreign reports claim that the Whites recently had a £5 million bid for the Brazilian playmaker rejected.

Prioritising a new midfield player before the transfer window closes on August 30 is United’s top transfer goal. The impending transfer of Crysencio Summerville to west Ham United is devastating and could have a big influence on their creativity in the closing third.

Sara, who is thought of as a talented, technical ball-player in the midfield, was included in the Championship team of the previous season after contributing to 25 goals from the position. In addition to the Whites, Sara is reportedly admired by Galatasaray, Leicester City, and Crystal Palace.

Former United midfielder Palmer told Football League World, “Leeds United, being very close to completing Summerville’s departure to West Ham means they will be looking for replacements.” Gabriel Sara is rumoured to have received an offer from Norwich City, Daniel Farke’s old team, which he has been watching.
ty won’t consider that. Sara was a standout player for the Canaries the previous season, helping his team push for promotion to the Premier League with
“It’s thought to be a cheeky offer for roughly £5 million. Norwich Ci 13 goals and 12 assists in the Championship before Leeds sent him back to the lower leagues for another year.

“The Canaries will need to receive a more substantial offer before they will allow the 25-year-old to leave. Considering that Norwich City paid £10 million for him in 2022, you would think they would be looking to spend around £20 million. Although Josh Sargent and Jonathan Rowe, who both had strong seasons last year, are rumoured to be available for sale, Norwich doesn’t want to part with Sara.

“After August 30th, Johannes Hoff Thorup will be excited to have him in their first team lineup. That’s the kind of thing. Even though Sara is a fantastic player, Leeds would prefer not to use the majority of their £25 million acquisition of Summerville on an older person.

“They might return with a better offer, but it might still fall well short of the £20 million that Norwich is requesting. They are likely to look elsewhere if they don’t present a better offer of at least £10 million.”
