Two cars collided on the A60 between Worksop and Mansfield, resulting in one man’s death and five other injuries. The incident occurred at the intersection of Broad Lane and Hodthorpe.
After being taken from the scene by ambulance, a 29-year-old man passed away in a hospital. While they look into what happened, Nottinghamshire Police are pleading with any more witnesses to come forward.
The Roads Policing and Serious Collision Investigation Unit’s Detective Inspector Kate Savage stated: “This was a tragic incident and we are working hard to understand exactly what happened.” We would like to speak with any witnesses who have not yet come forward in addition to the ones we have already spoken to.
