Police have confirmed a body has been found in the search for Jonathan Poole

In the course of looking for a missing Kent man, police have announced that a body has been located. It had been reported that Jonathan Poole was gone from Hythe.

Following his last sighting on Thursday, May 30, in the Reachfields area, Kent Police launched a missing person appeal. Sadly, though, the force has confirmed that a body has been found as of today, June 20.

It was discovered this evening, June 19, just after 7:30 p.m. in farmland close to Hythe. “Kent Police was called to a report that a man’s body had been found on farmland near Hythe,” a spokeswoman for the force said.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.”
