Man struggling with life in Chertsey street stabbing

A man has been taken to hospital with “serious injuries” after being stabbed in the street.

The victim, in his 20s, was attacked in Galsworty Road, Chertsey, between 13:10 and 13:20 BST on Sunday.

Richard Donovan, 48, of Bunyard Drive, Woking, has been charged with GBH with intent in connection with the attack.

Two women in their 40s and a 19-year-old man, all from the Chertsey area, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

They have been bailed pending further inquiries.
