Road closed in both directions as rescue team battle to save victims in serious crash in Yeovil

Following an accident in Somerset, one person was sent to the hospital. This morning, there is a collision in Stoke-sub-Hamdon, close to Yeovil, that has drawn the attention of emergency services.

Police are at the scene, and West Street has been closed in both directions. Around 10:45 a.m., according to an eyewitness who spoke with Somerset Live, paramedics and an air ambulance arrived on the scene.

“We were called at about today following a collision off West Street, in Stoke-sub-Hamdon,” an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson stated. There has been one hospital admission. While emergency personnel are on the scene, the road is closed.”

One individual was admitted to the hospital.

Following a collision in a Somerset village, Avon and Somerset Police reported that one person had been hospitalised. In Stoke-sub-Hamdon, West Street is closed in both directions.
