According to a Norfolk Police press release, a man riding a motorbike in Norfolk passed away on Tuesday after being pinned beneath an automobile in an accident.
At around 9:50 p.m., Cody N. Lucas, 30, was riding a motorbike near 13th Street and Omaha Avenue when an automobile crossed a red light, resulting in an accident.
Driver Kimberly K. Gardner, 60, of Pierce, was in the car that struck Lucas.
Per the press release, Lucas was pronounced dead at the site.
Gardner’s court date is set for August 20 after he received a citation on Saturday for probable misdemeanour motor vehicle murder.
