Early on Monday morning, a major road in Chalfont St. Peter was closed while authorities looked into a serious crash.
There had been reports of an accident, and the emergency services had been on the A413 since 3.20 am.
Between A40 Oxford Road and The Greyhound Inn (Joiners Lane Roundabout), the road was closed until noon.
The number of victims and the vehicles involved in the collision have not yet been made public by the authorities.
