Hunterdon County, New Jersey’s UNION TOWNSHIP According to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron, a Bayonne motorbike rider lost his life in a collision on Saturday night on Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County.
According to Lebron, the collision occurred at milepost 12.6 on Interstate 78 eastbound in Union Township at approximately 11:47 p.m.
According to Lebron, an initial police investigation found that 35-year-old Raquan Hicks was on a Harley-Davidson motorbike when it drifted off the road to the left, re-entered it and overturned while it was travelling east on I-78.
Hicks was thrown from the crash and collided with the barrier. He died from his injuries in the crash, according to Lebron.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
