Police issue M40 crash statement after van driver killed in lorry crash

The stretch of motorway remains closed

Following a van driver’s death in an accident involving a lorry on the M40, police have released a statement. This morning,
September 12, the guy, who has not been identified, was declared deceased at the scene on the M40 northbound between junctions 12 and 13.

“Our thoughts and sympathies are with the man’s friends and loved ones at this very difficult time,” stated Det Sgt Stephen Barr. The crash happened at 5:39 in the morning.
Any drivers who were in the area at the time are wanted to speak with the investigating officers. They especially encourage people to come forward if they have any dashcam footage.
