Road closed in both direction as three young men die in horror Falkirk crash

Three male passengers – aged 19, 23 and 24 – were pronounced dead at the scene near Dunmore, while the female driver was rushed to hospital.

Three young men have died in a single vehicle crash on a Scots road.

Officers were alerted to the incident involving a white Ford Focus on Moss Road near Dunmore in Falkirk on Tuesday September, 24 at around 6.15pm.

The female driver, 20, of the vehicle was rushed to Forth Valley Hospital for treatment but no information is available on her condition at this stage.

Cops locked down the road for seven hours to investigate the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dash-cam footage is urged to contact police

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a fatal crash near Dunmore.

“Around 6.15pm on Tuesday September, 24, 2024, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a white Ford focus on Moss Road near Dunmore, Falkirk.

“Emergency services attended however the three male passengers, aged 21, 23 and 24, were pronounced dead at the scene.

“The female driver, 20, was taken to Forth Valley Hospital for treatment.

“The road was closed for around seven hours to allow investigations to be carried out.

“Sergeant Mike Thomson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the men who died at this very difficult time.

“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.

“I would also appeal for anyone who was driving in the area and who may have dash-cam footage that could assist to contact us.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 3123 of 24 September, 2024.”
