A9 closed at Ballinluig in Perthshire after multi-vehicle crash

Following a collision involving three cars and a truck, the A9 in Highland Perthshire is closed.

Between Dunkeld and Pitlochry, close to the A827 Logierait intersection at Ballinluig, the road is closed in both directions.

 

Emergency services are in attendance and an air ambulance has been sent to the location.

 

A diversion is being used, and lines are forming in the vicinity.

This causes delays of up to an hour for Megabus services M90, M91, and M10.

“We are en route to a road traffic collision on the A9 involving three vehicles and one lorry,” a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson stated.

 

“An air ambulance has been called, and police and the Scottish Ambulance Service are on the site.
