Wimbledon boss caught with players wife

As their outstanding League Two play continued, Johnnie Jackson believed his AFC Wimbledon team could have defeated Harrogate Town even more decisively on Saturday.

Milton Keynes (18) and Walsall (12) are the only teams in the competition with more points than the Dons, who have taken 11 from their past six games.

They are now sixth in the standings after their 3-0 triumph over the weekend.

Wimbledon has a fixture in hand and is only three points behind Doncaster Rovers, whom they will host tomorrow.

At Harrogate’s Exercise Stadium, Josh Kelly’s deflected goal gave them the lead early on, and in the 23rd minute, John-Joe O’Toole forced home from a corner at the near post.

To put an end to any uncertainty regarding the result, top scorer Matty Stevens scored his 14th goal of the season by dinking over Town goalie James Belshaw in the 50th minute.

After Belshaw seemed to push down Omar Bugiel after he had first parried Alistair Smith’s long-range attempt, Wimbledon also seemed unfortunate not to receive a penalty.

“There was a clear penalty as well, and we scored another one. It’s a perfectly good goal, and I don’t know why he disallowed that,” Jackson remarked.”After a win instead of a loss, I’m going to complain about them.

This year, there have been far too many of those that haven’t gone our way. We’ve likely scored from a corner that should count for the third or fourth time.

Once more, we had one versus Newport the other night. I don’t see why we aren’t given these targets since I could reel off a load, but it hasn’t cost us anything today.

Despite various postponements due to Storm Darragh, Wimbledon’s match proceeded.

“Under challenging circumstances, it was a really good performance,” Jackson remarked. The circumstances were quite difficult, but we handled them quite effectively. Our away performance was incredibly professional, and we deserved the victory.

“We played it quite cleverly. Given the direction of the wind, the two parts would appear to be significantly different.

We made the decision to defend the wind in the first half with our legs and energy with the hopes of using it to our advantage in the second half, should the toss come our way. We had a solid lead from the first half going in, so it gave us something to work with.

“To be fair, we should have scored more goals and made it more comfortable, but we’ll take the three points.” “We played the game well and took the game away from them in the second half.”
