On the morning of December 23, an incident on the A37 Keyford roundabout in Yeovil resulted in the complete closure of the route in both directions.
Due to a collision that occurred at approximately 11.30 am, Travel Somerset reported that the A37 Keyford roundabout in Yeovil was completely closed.
Since then, authorities have established that a tractor and trailer carrying cattle were involved in the incident that occurred on the A37 roundabout at the intersection with Pavyotts Lane in Yeovil. The trailer and tractor were tilting on its side.
Since then, the road has reopened in the afternoon.
This has occurred only two days after a “serious collision” led to the full closure of the A303 eastbound between the A3088 Cartgate, Yeovil and the A37 Podimore.

A spokesperson for Travel Somerset said to “Expect some delays”.
“We were called at around 8.30am today (Monday, December 23) to the A37 roundabout, at the junction with Pavyotts Lane, in Yeovil, following a road-related incident,” stated a representative for the Avon and Somerset police.
“A livestock-carrying tractor and trailer overturned on its side. It is believed that neither the tractor driver nor any other road users have suffered any severe injuries.
“While emergency personnel responded and the car and caravan were rescued, the route was blocked. At noon, it reopened.
