Details after Millwall hold talks with Premier League man over move confirm

According to a report from TBR Football, Millwall is eager to speak with Jeffrey Schlupp of Crystal Palace.
This month, Millwall hopes to attract the Premier League player to The Den. They have till the transfer window closes to add some fresh players.

As things stand, Schlupp, 32, will become a free agent in the summer after his contract expires at the end of the current campaign. Assuming he doesn’t sign an agreement soon, Crystal Palace runs the risk of losing him in June for nothing if they don’t make a move on him this winter.

According to TBR Football’s most recent report on his circumstances at Selhurst Park, the Lions are interested in signing him, along with MLS teams Charlotte and San Diego. Alex Neil, their new manager, gets the opportunity to make his mark on the team he has taken over with some

Millwall could see Schlupp as someone to bolster their ranks.

He is a versatile player and can operate in different positions which would make him a useful addition.

Additionally, the former Ghanaian international would provide some experience to the Lions’ roster.

According to a South London News story, Neil responded, “Yeah of course (want to sign players)” when asked about his transfer plans earlier this month. You would never enter the building and begin signing people without first glancing at the men inside. My initial course of action will be to evaluate everyone there. If necessary, the club and I will then discuss our options.

Schlupp has been a valuable member of his current club since joining Crystal Palace in 2017.

To date, he has made 246 appearances with the Eagles across all competitions, scoring 19 goals.

The Hamburg-born man started his career at Leicester City and went on to play 150 matches for the Foxes, as well as having a loan spell away at Brentford, before moving to South London and he hasn’t looked back since.

What now?

It appears Schlupp’s time at Crystal Palace will be coming to an end soon and he has a decision to make on where he wants to go next.

He would get regular game time at Millwall but he also has the chance to go to the MLS with Charlotte or San Diego.
