Report- Everton want to sign Sheffield United gem as transfer stance open

According to TBR Football, Everton is one of the teams interested in signing Louie Marsh, a young player for Sheffield United.

Crystal Palace, Brentford, and Southampton are all monitoring the 20-year-old, according to the internet source [30 January], but the Blades are not interested in his moving away permanently.
Despite the Toffees’ admiration for the player, it is believed that the Championship club plans to loan him away before the transfer window closes, most likely to League One.

Will Everton press for the trade of Louie Marsh?
With so many Premier League teams vying for the young midfielder’s services, it is obvious why the Toffees have entered the fray.

Marsh, who has already scored a goal for the Blades in the first team, has the potential to be a unique attacking midfield player, but the Toffees do not now require him after only four senior appearances.

With the Toffees in a relegation struggle, David Moyes took over at Goodison Park. The new manager needs to bring in players who can start right away by February 3.

Marsh wouldn’t be the player to make up for Moyes’ lack of reinforcements in the middle of the park due to injuries to Tim Iroegbunam, Dwight McNeil, and now Orel Mangala.

He made eight appearances for the League Two team last season during a brief loan with Doncaster Rovers, which was his only other experience away from Bramall Lane.

Mangala and Idrissa Gana Gueye have been trusted as the midfield partnership this season, but with half of the duo now missing long-term, a new signing is desperately needed before the transfer window slams shut.

The Friedkin Group’s takeover should mean that fees can be freed up before 3 February but supporters will not be holding their breath after so much disappointment with Farhad Moshiri.
