After revealing that the Blades are in talks with Rhian Brewster regarding a new contract, Chris Wilder is adamant that Sheffield United has not yet seen the best of the striker in a red and white shirt. The Blades at the time referred to the former Liverpool player’s October arrival as a club record fee, which could have increased to £23.5 million.
However, Brewster has had a difficult time in South Yorkshire due to a string of regrettable injuries, and many of the add-ons in the transaction have not materialised. The former Chelsea youth product, however, has been patient with United and is now available once more. He provided a vital assist with a fantastic cross that allowed Jesurun Rak-Sakyi to score the record fee that might have increased to £23.5 million.
