Jose Cifuentes’ knee injury raises questions for the Rangers as he is not included in the match against Ecuador.
The midfielder did not play in Ecuador’s match against Colombia.
Jose Cifuentes, a midfielder for Rangers, is questionable to play against Hibs this weekend after seemingly suffering a knee injury while on international duty.
It remained unknown why the Ibrox summer signing was left off of Ecuador’s squad for their 0-0 tie with Colombia on Wednesday night. After playing in the first game and receiving criticism for it, he was later photographed with his knee strapped up, which caused him to be left out of the game.
Midfielder Jose Cifuentes of Rangers is doubtful for this weekend’s matchup against Hibs due to what appears to be a knee injury sustained while on international duty.

Both Cifuentes and new Rangers manager Philippe Clement will be concerned by his knee bandage, which was seen on him at the side of the field. The former LAFC midfielder is hoping to impress going forward with the new manager after not having the best of starts to life in Glasgow.
Since joining the Rangers, he has made 12 appearances, however he has fluctuated in and out of the starting lineup.
