West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is expected to miss the game against Aston Villa, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert states that there’s not too much to read into the goalkeeper’s setback.
The official ruling is that it’s a knock but it does appear to be something more serious than it.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said:
“Hard to read too much into it because a knock can have so much variance depending on the specific details.
“However, it looks like something more to it as he’s just been given a 25 per cent chance of being fit.
“It’s possible he’s not fit in time for the weekend game.”
The Hammers are unlikely to miss him as Alphonse Areola has become the number one.
Although it took David Moyes some time to warm up to the Frenchman, he is now without a doubt the best.
Also, he’s performed a fantastic job, thus it makes no sense to fire him.
It’s also unclear if he intends to stay at the club after the January transfer window.
In other West Ham news, an Injury Expert has filed a new claim, which could potentially sideline a first-team player for months.
