Green Bay Packers Friday Injury Report….

DE GREEN BAY, WI The two-time All-Pro cornerback for the Green Bay Packers, Jaire Alexander, did not show up for practice on Friday with his colleagues, raising questions about his availability for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos. Reporters were only permitted to view the pre-practice stretch, as is customary for the last practice of the week.

Alexander was without his helmet, but he was wearing his jersey. Alexander stayed inside and partnered with Elgton Jenkins on an exercise bike, as the rest of the team sprinted towards the Hutson Centre doors that led to the practice field. Following practice on Friday, Packers coach Matt LaFleur will make public the final injury report. The same back problem that held Alexander out of the games against New Orleans and Detroit was listed as an ailment on Thursday’s injury report. Before the bye, he played every snap in Las Vegas after rejoining the team.

Alexander’s participation against the Broncos would be crucial, since Green Bay is suffering from back-to-back losses and is only three points ahead of schedule. Although Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the Broncos, has had some setbacks—he ranks fourth in touchdown passes and seventh in the NFL in passer rating, but his team is just 17th in scoring—he is still an experienced player who can produce huge plays in prolonged plays. After the Broncos’ mini-bye, he and head coach Sean Payton ought to have some answers. Alexander possesses the knowledge and cunning to sabotage the Broncos’ plans.

After missing the most of 2021 due to a shoulder injury, he was named to the second team of the All-Pro team in 2020 and again in 2022. As per Sports Info Solutions, Alexander became the only NFL cornerback to permit catch rates below fifty percent in both 2019 and 2021. In 2022, he also established a personal best with five interceptions. With just two passes defensed in three games this season, Alexander is tied for third on the club with rookie defensive lineman Karl Brooks and linebacker Quay Walker. Alexander has 0 interceptions.
