Finally; Browns Announce Starting QB Decision for Seahawks Gam….

On Sunday, the Browns will again rely on their backup quarterback as concerns about their quarterback position persist. In a news conference on Wednesday, Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski said that quarterback PJ Walker will start for the Browns against the Seahawks.

Walker, 28, has participated in just two Browns games so far this year. He took over as starter on October 15 and led Cleveland to an unexpected 19–17 victory against the 49ers; one week later, he replaced injured quarterback Deshaun Watson and assisted the Browns in a 39–38 victory over the Colts. Walker has participated in two victories this season, but his three interceptions have prevented him from throwing a score.

Conversely, Watson has struggled with a persistent shoulder ailment this season. Prior to Cleveland’s game against Seattle, Stefanski told reporters that Watson will not be practicing due to lingering swelling in his shoulder.

Watson has thrown four touchdowns versus three interceptions in his first full season with the Browns since serving an 11-game ban in 2022 due to various claims of sexual misconduct against him.
