Man arrested at Birmingham City game for player allegedly racially abused.

Last night (October 26), during Birmingham City Football Club’s match versus Hull City at St Andrews, a man was taken into custody.

After a Blues player was allegedly subjected to racist taunts at a previous game against Huddersfield on October 3, officers identified a guy they wanted to speak with.

Moments after the game began, the 52-year-old was taken into custody on suspicion of a racially sensitive public order violation.

Shortly after full time, a 20-year-old guy was also taken into custody on charges of allegedly attacking a steward.

Both of them are still being held for interrogation.
