Leeds United may not come up against Jack Rudoni when they face Huddersfield Town, according to Beren Cross.
Described by the LeedsLive reporter as “influential” for the Terriers, Rudoni was wearing a protective boot after the Terriers were humbled 4-0 by Cardiff City last time out
Speaking at a press conference, Huddersfield manager Darren Moore gave no indication as to whether Rudoni will play, according to statements obtained by LeedsLive on October 27.
Moore stated, “As a precaution, Jack has that protective boot on.”
“He’s swollen a little and had a kick, but it’s mostly protective.”
Rudoni, who started all 13 of Huddersfield’s games this season and contributed to every Championship game for the team last year, has scored three goals for Leeds’ West Yorkshire opponents.
Without a doubt, Huddersfield and manager Moore would be losing without him. Since taking over in the dugout in lieu of Neil Warnock with his team ranked twenty-first in the standings, Moore has supervised only one win from six league games.
Leeds had a fantastic chance to bounce back from their disappointing 1-0 loss against Stoke City in the middle of the week, which put a stop to their run of three straight league victories.
Though derbies are never simple, there is little love lost between these two West Yorkshire teams, who will be eager to give their supporters the ability to gloat.
However, Leeds has to be winning these kinds of games if they are to finish in the top two. Hopefully, they can complete the task.
